Chinese Prefold Cloth Diapers

February 16th, 2010 admin No comments

The Chinese prefold cloth diaper is a remarkably self-explanatory prefold diaper. It’s exactly what is says it is, that is to say that it is a prefold diaper made in China. Many people swear by these cloth diapers because they are incredibly absorbent, and they are very durable. That means they’re designed to last longer, and in general do a better job of keeping the masses contained. If you’re looking at getting started using cloth diapers, Chinese prefold are great place to start, and a great place to end as well.

What makes these a great option for many people is a correlation of two things. First, they don’t cost a lot. First, they can be bought for about $1.50 per “diaper”. Second, they do a good job. What else do you need to know right?

There are actually a few different options when it comes to using these kind of prefold cloth diapers. First, you can use a traditional safety pin style to pin the diaper together. Second, you can use the more modern Snappi system to fasten them. Third, you can use them as inserts along with a diaper cover, such as the flip diaper system. Personally, I would recommend using some kind of diaper cover, if only because it’s going to keep any really bad messes from getting out of control. Once your baby starts moving around, this could become an even bigger problem.

If you go to a site like cotton babies, you’ll find that many of the Chinese prefold diapers that they sell are of what is known as a diaper service quality type. That means that there are extra durable and designed to be used over and over again. Since you’re going to be using these cloth diapers more than once. You obviously want something that is a lot more durable.

Another thing that these can be used for is as a burp cloth. Obviously, you want to keep your burp cloths, separate from the diapers, but these are basically designed to serve the same purpose. With the extra durability, this could save you some money over a traditonal burp cloth.

Many people buy these and compare them to the Indian prefold cloth diapers that are also very popular. After reading a few reviews it seems like people tend to be somewhat divided as to which they prefer. I’m not sure if it’s a personality thing or what people didn’t seem to have a significant problem with either style of diaper. Mostly, people seemed quite happy with both.

One thing that I found interesting is as I was reading a few reviews. Some people actually commented that they thought the Chinese prefold type or is would hold more than a disposable diaper. That stuff only something you don’t see advertised on TV.

Overall, after doing a lot of research, it seems like the Chinese prefold cloth diapers are an excellent buy. After all, they’re not that expensive, they seem to last a long time, and people really seem to like them. Here, I seem them described as the workforce of the cloth diaper world and that’s probably true. It’s like the old saying, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”
